What is the.yin.life?
The concept of yin and yang, though ancient, remains relevant today, offering insights into balance and the interplay of opposites. The symbol, a circle split into black and white, shows how each force contains a seed of the other, emphasizing their interdependence.
Yang energy is active, bright, and dynamic, driving action, ambition, and assertiveness. In contrast, yin energy is passive, cool, and still, linked to qualities like darkness and introspection, often seen in moments of rest. It nurtures reflection and healing.
Our society is very yang driven, measured by success in business (and busy-ness). Over time, women have been called out of the home and into the workforce, often leaving behind their intuitive nature and wild spirit. While some may thrive in the “boss babe” mentality, many women long to reconnect with their roots of creation and nurturing. Our yin qualities are rarely celebrated and honored. My mission is to inspire you to rediscover your feminine essence and live in harmony with the Earth—finding balance between your yin and yang.
Hi there, I’m Megan

I’m Megan, and I call the Colorado mountains my home. My life is centered around my family, my pets, and the beauty of nature. Unlike most people, I don’t follow the traditional work routine—my life itself is my work. I find fulfillment in homesteading, living off the land, and embracing a sustainable lifestyle. In my ideal world, I’d be growing all my own fruits and vegetables, harvesting deer and elk, raising chickens and goats, and trail running through the wild.
